Are POWERbreathe TrySafe filters covid-19 safe?
The POWERbreathe TrySafe Filter material is consistent with the filter material widely used within other branded spirometry filters within the medical and healthcare environments, based on single user/single use.
As far as COVID-19 is concerned, like all other scenarios where these types of filters are used, it cannot be ruled out that some particles may get through the layers of the filter materials that make up the filter. There is no 100% guarantee of being covid-safe. However, to the best of our knowledge, the filters have been widely used during the COVID-19 pandemic where safety precautions have been in place and no concerns have been reported.
