If using this Trysafe® filter with a K-Series or Plus model or EX1, then the POWERbreathe Spacer is also required.

Creating a barrier between the user and the device, a Trysafe® filter should be used when more than one POWERbreathe user wishes to use a POWERbreathe breathing trainer, for example when testing the breathing strength of a client or patient on a K-Series model.

Are POWERbreathe TrySafe® filters covid-19 safe?
The POWERbreathe TrySafe® Filter material is consistent with the filter material widely used within other branded spirometry filters within the medical and healthcare environments, based on single user/single use.
As far as COVID-19 is concerned, like all other scenarios where these types of filters are used, it cannot be ruled out that some particles may get through the layers of the filter materials that make up the filter. There is no 100% guarantee of being covid-safe. However, to the best of our knowledge, the filters have been widely used during the COVID-19 pandemic where safety precautions have been in place and no concerns have been reported.
Can the POWERbreathe Trysafe® Filter be safely used on more than one occasion?
Trysafe® filters are only intended for single-use.
