Terry Tang from Healthcare & Co., our POWERbreathe distributor and friend in Hong Kong, held a seminar recently in Hong Kong that was presented by special guest Professor Tom Tong who major’s in respiratory physiology and discussed breathing, exercise, and breathing during exercise, specifically running.
Over 170 people attended the seminar where the benefits of POWERbreathe were presented and discussed. At the end of the seminar in the evening a training session was held with a running club which included a POWERbreathe training session with Gi Ka Man – record holder for the Hong Kong half marathon.
Gi Ka Man has been using POWERbreathe since 2009 and is founder and Head Coach of the Hong Kong running club, Runners Athletic Club. Gi Ka Man won the Hong Kong half marathon by a huge 35-second margin, and came first in the ASICS Hong Kong 10K Challenge with a fantastic race time.
