Gi Ka Man is founder and Head Coach of the Hong Kong running club, Runners Athletic Club. In 2012 Gi beat the Hong Kong Record for 10,000m with a time of approximately 30:40; the previous record being set in 1990 with a time of 31:16.
At the Sports Expo, which took place over a long weekend (9th – 11th August), Gi Ka Man’s Runners Athletic Club booth featured the POWERbreathe K5 and other POWERbreathe models. At the stand visitors to the Sports Expo were able to have their breathing strength tested and analysed using the K5 with Breathe-Link software.
Gi Ka Man and the team from Healthcare & Co. also provided presentations about inspiratory muscle training, POWERbreathe, and how POWERbreathe inspiratory muscle training exercises the breathing muscles to improve their strength and stamina and ultimately sports performance.
You can view some of the photos taken at the Sports Expo on the POWERbreathe Facebook page.
