POWERbreathe Medic “Try-Before-You-Prescribe” Demo Kit
The POWERbreathe Medic Demonstration Kit is an educational tool, designed to help Healthcare Professionals and patients understand and experience the effect POWERbreathe Medic has on the inspiratory muscles.
The kit includes a quantity of disposable, hygienic mouthpiece filters to allow both nurses and patients to experience the effect POWERbreathe Medic has on the inspiratory muscles. Each nurse and patient should be provided with a new mouthpiece filter, which after use is then disposed of.
Your own experience of POWERbreathe Medic will help towards your patients’ understanding, but it is still advisable for patients to try POWERbreathe Medic for themselves:
- To establish whether a patient is able to use the device before it is prescribed
- For the patient to feel the resistance the device provides to the inspiratory muscles
- For the patient to feel that POWERbreathe Medic is not unpleasant to use
