Thank you for giving me the chance to have a decent quality of life Review by Martin Hughes - Emphysema sufferer (aged 72-years)
I feel I have to write to endorse your company’s amazing product: POWERbreathe Plus Wellness. Fifteen years ago I was diagnosed as having widespread emphysema with extensive hyperventilation. Over the past few years my condition has got progressively worse, so much so that I was accepted onto a lung transplant programme. Whilst waiting on a donor list I was introduced to the POWERbreathe Plus in order to improve my inspiratory muscles - amazingly it has worked!
I am no longer on the transplant list simply because my condition has not shown any significant deterioration; in fact they are of the opinion that new lungs would not make me any better than I already am. Furthermore my pulmonary function test has shown a slight improvement in all aspects and my pulmonary blood gases still remain normal with an oxygen saturation of 98% - all thanks to the POWERbreathe Plus.
My visit to my consultant today was very good; his view is that he is getting very bored with my condition since he no longer sees the need to intervene. All I can say is thank you for giving me the chance to have a decent quality of life. Through your expertise I will always be indebted to you and POWERbreathe, and look forward to your new models. I cannot thank you folks enough for this wonderful, elegant little gadget Review by Tom Walters, Tombstone, AZ, USA
My POWERbreathe has made a remarkable difference in my life; I had completely given up running a few years ago due to my asthma and never being able to catch my breath. I discovered the POWERbreathe on Concept2's U.K. site and decided the research seemed sound and it was worth trying. The result? -- I have begun running again --with no problems in my breathing... I cannot thank you folks enough for this wonderful, elegant little gadget. (Posted on 28/05/2009)

To anyone with a breathing problem I would recommend giving POWERbreathe a try Review by Allergy Plus Newsletter (March 09 Edition)
After a good many weeks of bronchial problems through the winter, which no antibiotics would shift, my GP eventually diagnosed moderate emphysema and provided inhalers for prevention and relief. So when a sample of this strange looking gadget landed on the editorial desk, which it was claimed will help anyone suffering from asthma, COPD or any other respiratory illness, I knew I was the ideal guineapig...You can feel the effort expanding your lungs and afterwards, instead of feeling exhausted as you might expect, you feel hugely better and breathe more freely...The happy result, I have found, is that I need the blue ‘reliever’ inhaler during the day a lot less, in fact hardly at all... To anyone with a breathing problem I would recommend giving it a try. (Posted on 28/05/2009)

We were so happy with the results that we bought one for his younger cousin, also asthmatic! Review by N Evans
My son Jonathan, 12 and asthmatic, started using POWERbreathe about a year ago. After using it regularly for about 3 months his peak flow increased from 400 to 420!! (measures from peak flow meter). He still uses POWERbreathe now, less regularly, and his peak flow has been steady and high. We were so happy with the results that we bought one for his younger cousin, also asthmatic! I was never one to believe in miracles but one has definitely occurred here... Review by Mr P, Australia
I have had asthma, COPD and emphysema for the last 20 to 30 years. Both my Respiratory Specialist and General Practitioner told me there was nothing more they could do as I was on maximum medication. My walking was limited to about 50 yards; showering was an effort and I had to give up my golf and tennis because I couldn't breathe. From 8th March 2009 I commenced using POWERbreathe. On 19th March I visited my GP who was impressed with how well I looked and could breathe. On 30th March I visited the Respiratory Specialist. I walked in, not puffing or panting and not short of breath. He wanted to know where the person he discharged from hospital was and what happened to him.
I was never one to believe in miracles but one has definitely occurred here, using POWERbreathe. I am back playing golf (at the young age of 82) and I started playing tennis again. I can walk anywhere and I don't get short of breath or gasp. My health is better than 10 years ago and my family and friends can't believe the improvement I have made in such a short time. I couldn't speak highly enough about the results achieved with POWERbreathe over such a short time. (Posted on 18/05/2009)
