K5 Launched at Trizone open day at Clive Mitchell Cycles, Truro
Duncan from POWERbreathe was on hand to answer any questions about the new K5, and to allow visitors to try the new K5 for themselves. This proved extremely popular with cyclists, triathletes and a rowing club who all queued to have their breathing tested.
The highest score on the day for the Strength-Index Test was 207cmH2O, recorded by Jamie, a 24 year-old rower/triathlete who already owned a POWERbreathe. The Score Board had to be continuously refreshed as more and more people took the breathing challenge. One lady had cycled the 20 miles in the wind and rain to see the new K5 in action.
The breathing tests became very competitive among visitors and staff at the new Trizone, and not only with athletes, as one person who purchased a K5 told Duncan how he wanted to improve his breathing performance after having half a lung removed following a motorcycle accident. We wish him all the best, and if he is reading this, we'd love to hear how you're getting on.
