So while we've all been getting on with our own things these past couple of days, Andy and Lotte have been running for Team POWERbreathe UK starting on 31st August from Ruhpolding (GER) to St. Johann in Tirol (AUT) - 49,6 km, 1.663 Hm climb, 1667 Hm descent - and Stage 1 of the Gore-Tex Transalpine-Run. Showing impressive times for such a challenge, Andy and Lotte's running time results were 6.34.43,0, finishing 21st mixed team out of 76!
Since then Andy and Lotte have taken on Stage 2, running from St. Johann in Tirol (AUT) to Kitzbühel (AUT) 34,8 km, 1849 Hm climb, 1742 Hm descent in 6.09.29,3 and 6.09.28,9 respectively!

Stage 3: From Kitzbühel (AUT) to Neukirchen am Großvenediger (AUT) 46,5 km, 2258 Hm climb, 2147 Hm descent. This stage has an altitude difference of 2200 metres and 46 kilometre distance, with the infamous Streif to the Hahnenkamm a very challenging mountain run on its own. It continues uphill and downhill through the Kitzbüheler Alps until the runners reach Stangenjoch. From here the last ascent for the day takes them up the Wildkogel and then finally an extremely steep downhill to Neukirchen. Andy’s time: 7.56.30,9 and Lotte’s time: 7.56.31,9.
